Day 1: Hyperledger Composer’s business network models

During this first day the participants will get an introduction to the basics of development in Hyperledger Composer business network models.

Requirements

Everyone is welcome to participate, no prior experience or knowledge required. Programming skills are not compulsory, but will help.

A laptop will be required for this session. With VMware/ Virtual Box. We will provide the virtual machines.

What will you learn

At the end of the day you will go home with an understanding about how to define a Hyperledger Composer business network model.


Day 2: Hyperledger Composer’s transaction processors

This second day will focus on implementing logic to the transactions defined in a business network model and how to use them in an application through REST API’s.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Hyperledger Composer’s business network models. Attendees will be expected to be familiar with the content of “day 1: Hyperledger Composer’s business network models. It’s advised to have minimal knowledge of Javascript.

A laptop will be required for this session. With VMware/ Virtual Box. We will provide the virtual machines.

What will you learn

At the end of the day you will be able to build a full Hyperledger Composer application.


Day 3: Hyperledger Fabric chaincode introduction

During this third day the participants will get an introduction to the basics of developing chaincode in Hyperledger Fabric.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Google’s Golang is not necessary but will help. Although the basics will be explained, some self-study of Golang can help prepare you for this workshop.

A laptop will be required for this session. With VMware/ Virtual Box. We will provide the virtual machines.

What will you learn

In this session you’ll learn:

  • Hyperledger Fabric 1.0 architecture, endorsers, orderers, clients,…
  • Create a local blockchain on your VM
  • Writing chaincode in Go
  • Deploy and execute chaincode


Day 4: Hyperledger Fabric chaincode advanced

This fourth day will focus on the Node SDK and building a full-featured blockchain application.

Requirements

Attendees will be expected to be familiar with the content of “day 3: Hyperledger Fabric chaincode introduction”. It’s advised to have minimal knowledge of Golang and Nodejs.

A laptop will be required for this session. With VMware/ Virtual Box. We will provide the virtual machines.

In this session you’ll learn how to build a fully featured blockchain application.
